Here is an update on my portrait drawing of music composer Philip Glass. I made some adjustments to the tone on his face by applying charcoal and graphite powder using a q-tip cotton swab. I took a kneaded eraser
And dabbed the highlighted areas to make them stand out more. I then went back to adjust the texture of the skin by making circular motions with a P205 mechanical pencil with a 2B lead.
Now to move on to his shirt. This should be fun....more to come soon'
The purpose of this blog is to share my passion and love of drawing, more specifically; the drawing of portraits. I hope to document my development in hopes of becoming a better artist. I also want to share with friends, family, and anyone who is interested what I am up to and working on.
